The lost horizons of Sikkim
Sikkim is ribbon-like roads winding around graceful mountains, deep valleys with thin rivers that will fill to torrents during monsoon and clouds of thick mist obscuring mountain tops and views. Pelling is a small town in west Sikkim known for historic ruins, important monasteries, authentic villages and of course Kanchendzonga, the world’s third highest mountain.
