Mariellen Ward is a professional travel writer and digital storyteller. She has a BA in Journalism, has been published in leading media outlets around the world, and runs Breathedreamgo. Her publication credits include BBC Travel, National Geographic Traveller (India), Toronto Star, Conde Nast Traveller (India), Outpost Magazine and a guidebook on India for World Nomads. The site covers Canada and other destinations as well, with a focus on responsible travel, wildlife tourism, authentic cultural experiences, and female solo travel. Breathedreamgo has won many awards, and has been featured on many lists of top blogs and in leading publications such as USA Today, India Today, Vogue India, and many others. Though Canadian by birth, Mariellen considers India to be her “soul culture.” She started travel writing and blogging in 2005 and splits her time between India and Canada.
Victoria Ward. Victoria is a Canadian writer, blogger, and artist. She often writes about digital issues, travel, and the arts on her blog as well as for other sites, and she provides editorial and social media support to environmental organizations. Victoria has provided editorial and social media support to Breathedreamgo since 2013.
Chris Richardson, RTW Labs. Chris is one of the world’s leading travel website developers. He provides technical support and develops custom website for some of the world’s top bloggers. Chris has been the webmaster for Breathedreamgo for about four years, and he performed the design work on Breathedreamgo in 2017 to transform it into a multi-contributor, digital periodical.
Gaurav Bhan Bhatnagar is an ex-software engineer and founder, director at The Folk Tales. The Folk Tales specializes in village tours of India with primary focus on responsible tourism in alignment with the guidelines of UNWTO. The tours focus on involving locals, giving greater opportunities to women, and in providing deeper connect to the traveler through cultural immersion with the community. He is also a speaker and travel writer who actively advocates for sustainable development, environmental and cultural conservation through responsible tourism.
Claudia Laroye is a travel writer and blogger living in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to founding her own family travel site, The Traveling Mom. She is the Contributing Editor for Twist Travel Magazine, and has contributed to Lonely Planet, BCAA’s Westworld and Dreamscapes magazines, Travelzoo, Fodor’s, Hayo Magazine, and Inside Vancouver.
